Everywhere we look there are things we can do, things we can contribute, and ways we can help. It sometimes feels so overwhelming that we feel we can do nothing that will make any difference. But be assured, no matter what you do, it will make a difference to the one you help. Remember, each one of us can touch many lives, one at a time.
Campus Cleanup Days
Your help is needed February 16 and March 23. Read more here…
Volunteers needed to wash the white robes (albs). At present we have three volunteers, but would like to get six volunteers so each volunteer would only have to wash them every 6 months. If you would be interested in helping with this service contact Vicki Yaider at 407-348-6922.
Just because you don’t hear us telling you every weekend, we still need you to donate food on a regular basis. The food need never goes away. It’s not a need that’s seasonal, around the holidays. Hunger is here every day, no matter what. Everything you donated has been distributed. Everything you donate will make a difference! Please continue to give generously to this critical mission!
Altar Care Help Wanted
UPDATE: Altar Care needs someone for clean up following the 10:30 am service on the 1st & 4th Sundays. If you are interested in serving in this capacity e-mail Sheila Honeycutt at firstname.lastname@example.org. Training will be provided.
Audio/Visual Help Wanted
We need a team of people who will operate the audio/visual equipment for each worship service each weekend. If we can get a small team together, then the burden is lighter for all. If you are interested, you will receive training and lots of help getting started. And don’t worry if you make mistakes while you are learning, we will be glad you are there learning and making mistakes — it’s all for good. To learn more about this opportunity and more like it, you can contact Janie Kimmel on the Service Team. Or call the church office to inquire. Your service will be appreciated by all who worship at Trinity!
Osceola Christian Ministry Center
Each month we have a group of people that prepare and serve the food at Osceola Christian Ministry Center on the first Wednesday of each month. They arrive at 9 am and leave around 12:30 pm. The serve approximately 110 people each month. Those who help with this ministry – Bobbie Owens, Sandee Johnston, Shirley Walter, Don & Fran Balcom, Brian Vanderkin, Lisa Rivera, Peter & Anita Hemmerle, Jim & Doris O’Connor, Bob & Donna Coon.
Here’s something easy — Osceola Christian Ministry Center is in need of your plastic grocery bags. You can place them in the hallway near the conference room.
If you would like to join this effort, please contact Vicki in the church office.
